Kabir Kouba

In July 1937, Mister Albert Michel Sioui, a Huron-Wendat Indian, founded the company, St-Charles Falls Manufacturing. They specialized in production of hand-made moccasins (cowhide, moose, sheepskin). Fabrication, according to traditional indian techniques, is based in the family home located on the Indian reserve of Wendake, about twenty kilometres north of Quebec city. Moccasins are sold under trade-mark KABIR KOUBA, traditional indian name that means river with a thousand curves.
